Differences in wireless ad-hoc systems and infrastructure

Technology News : Differences in ad-hoc and infrastructure,
There are two ways of linking inter-PC with a wireless system, a system ad-hoc and Infrastructure systems.
Differences in ad-hoc and infrastructure
Ad-hoc is a peer to peer system.
This means that a computer connected to a another computer in order to know each other SSID (Service Set Identifier). If described, the system is almost similar to the direct-connection system. The difference, the system still uses direct connection UTP crossover cable or USB cable. below the image ad-hoc

Infrastructure system is the relationship between the PC that uses a device called an Access Point as a media liaison in a particular area (coverage). Access point can be analogous to the hub on a cable network.

Upshot: In the Ad-hoc does not use the access point as the connecting medium, while in the infrastructure using access points as the connecting medium.
